TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Participants in our excursions bear responsibility for their personal safety, being aware in advance of the level of difficulty and the risks associated with the activity they are joining. Each participant accepts full responsibility in case of an accident due to their own fault, as stipulated in the “Tyrol Declaration of September 8, 2003,” Annex 1 – Article 1 on Individual Responsibility.
Members must be willing to compromise to maintain a balance between the interests and abilities of the entire group. Additionally, in situations of emotional tension, participants should treat others as they would like to be treated (team spirit).
Health Condition
For safe participation in hiking activities, members of the Club must disclose in advance any medical history that could affect their health during the journey (e.g., high blood pressure, heart/respiratory issues, acrophobia, vascular/orthopedic problems).
Equipment
Participants must consider the possibility of adverse weather conditions and equip themselves with gear that will protect them from unexpected weather events.
Mandatory Equipment:
- Hiking boots
- Trekking poles
- Backpack (preferably a hiking backpack)
- Water bottle
- Socks (preferably wool or cotton, plus an extra pair)
- Windproof/rainproof jacket
- Basic personal first aid kit
Optional Equipment:
- Hat – Sunglasses – Sunscreen
- Thermal shirt
- Whistle
The expedition leader has the right to exclude participants who do not have the required personal equipment, who do not meet the prerequisites for hiking/mountaineering, or who for any other reason may endanger both their own safety and that of the rest of the group.
Program Changes
The leader has the right to modify part or all of an activity if weather or other conditions pose a risk to the safety of the group. In such cases, any additional costs will be covered by the participants.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy (cancellation fees, cancellation timeframe) is stated in the presentation of each specific activity/excursion.
Personal Data
Photography takes place during the excursion. Participants accept the use of photos on the Club’s social media, in which they or their family members may appear. If a participant does not wish to be included, they must inform the expedition leader in advance.
The personal data provided by members (such as full name, email address, phone number, postal code, etc.) are used only when there is a legal reason to do so.
Legal reasons for processing personal data include:
(a) Providing the services you request from us, such as purchasing products (e.g., magazines) and services (e.g., excursions), thus fulfilling our contractual obligations.
(b) The consent you provide under the specific conditions set by the legal framework, allowing you to receive updates about our company’s products, services, offers, etc.
