ABOUT US

May 1996. A man and a woman from Thessaloniki (Greece) left behind the certainty of their office jobs, and ventured into the Greek outdoors. They changed their perspective and from mere sightseers, they turned into observers of the detail and seekers of adventure.
Soon, they realized that true beauty and happiness lie in simplicity and humbleness. Ever since then, they set their life purpose to enrich their knowledge about their home country, and spread it across the world, through a new creation of their own: the ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟ ΠΑΝΟΡΑΜΑ (English translation: Greek Panorama) magazine.
Theofilos Basgiourakis and Anna Kalaitzi roamed together for 30 years with irreducible yearning for exploration. Inseparable partners, friends, fellow travelers, they spent countless of hours in the Greek countryside, hiking, tasting, and enjoying all that this land had to offer. Always waking up to see Greece with the same pristine gaze.

Along the years, professionals of various backgrounds joined the editorial team. Created with love and care, a new Greek Panorama issue was released bimonthly, embraced every time by its loyal audience.
Aware of the new needs and circumstances of the modern, digitalized world, in May 2024, the company decided to change direction: It proceeded to translating the magazines’ content into English and offering free access to it through its updated website.
From that point on, old and new contributors renew their appointment each month with electronic readers, presenting new and exciting destinations.
At the same time, the company establishes a travel agency carrying the same brand name, offering one-day and multi-day trips to unique corners of the country, always with a focus on the experiential approach to the natural and cultural landscape.
With the involvement of Athina, daughter of Theofilos and Anna, the vision continues.
Let us continue, then, to discover together this small but great country, learning about its rich history and indulging in its unique beauties. Because only by doing so, can we love and protect it.
May the “road be long” and Ithaca an unattainable bird…
